The market demand for infrared light has decreased, and Guanghong conservatively views the operation in the first half of the year

Last year, the LED factory Guangfun benefited from the booming orders for IR infrared light, sensing and automotive product lines, and its annual profit hit a nearly ten-year high. However, since the beginning of this year, the demand for IR infrared light has slowed down. This has significantly slowed down the purchase of goods by customers. The company admitted that the business outlook for the first half of the year is conservative, and its performance this year is only the same as last year.

When it comes to operations since the beginning of this year, Guang Fung admitted that the demand for IR infrared light in the infrared light market has slowed down compared with the same period last year. Other product lines such as automotive products have been affected by the epidemic, and the sales force at the sales side is also lower than the same period last year.

Guang Hung estimates that its products directly and indirectly shipped to the Chinese mainland market account for more than 60% of its operations. The closure and control of mainland China has indeed affected the company's operations. Although the operation of the whole year last year was bright, the current assessment is that the first half of this year is relatively conservative. For the whole year, it strives to maintain the same performance as last year. (Source: Taiwan Economic Daily)
