Infrared emitting tube (IR LED), also known as infrared emitting diode, belongs to the LED diode category. It is a light-emitting device that can directly convert electrical energy into near-infrared light (invisible light) and radiate it out. It is mainly used in various photoelectric switches, touch screens and remote control emission circuits. The structure and principle of the infrared emitting tube are similar to those of ordinary light-emitting diodes, but the semiconductor chip materials used are different. Infrared light-emitting diodes usually use gallium arsenide (GaAs), gallium aluminum arsenide (GaAlAs) and other materials, and are packaged with fully transparent or light blue and black optical-grade resins
